Curatorial Statement｜
Longtan is not only the hometown of the writer Zhong Zhaozheng but also the wellspring of inspiration for his creations. Zhong Zhaozheng's "Song of the White-Feathered Kite" delves into the changes in the Dahan River basin, reflecting on the rapid modernization process of Taiwanese society through the interaction and memories of the white-feathered heron and the old man. Members of the "Bu Fei Cross-Village Laboratory," Yang Fangyi and Lin Junzuo, have long been attentive to ecological changes and the possibilities of plastic recycling. Drawing inspiration from Zhong Zhaozheng's "Song of the White-Feathered Kite," the artists collaborate with local residents in creating characters, weaving heterogeneities, and engaging in regenerative art. Through installation artworks, they tangibly extend Zhong Zhaozheng's environmental consciousness, addressing the contemporary contradictions and compatibilities in how issues like "waste" are redefined.

龍潭，不僅是作家鍾肇政的故鄉，更是孕育其創作的靈感泉源。鍾肇政筆下的《白翎鷥之歌》，從大漢溪流域變遷的觀點切入，透過 白翎鷺與老翁的互動與記憶，娓娓道出臺灣社會快速邁步現代化歷程的省思。
「不廢跨村實驗室」成員楊芳宜和林俊作，長期關注生態變遷和塑料再生的可能性。藝術家們援引鍾肇政 《白翎鷥之歌》文句和意象為靈感，透過與在地民眾共同造字、異質編織及再生創作，以裝置藝術作品，立體延伸鍾肇政關注的環境意識，呈現出既矛盾也兼容的當今環境下，如何重新定義「廢棄」等課題。
